PTA Fundraisers / Programs
We need a strong team to make our school a special place. A PTA organization
is the heart of a school that can not only provide needed educational and
incentive programs, but a group that secures an understanding and caring
environment for our children.
We encourage you today to be part of our organization
and be proud that you can help not just your child but all children. Remember
that an annual PTA membership is only $5.00 per adult. Please feel free
to ask any faculty, staff or PTA board member on campus about how to sign
up for this very worthwhile cause. We are in need of a PTA Vice President,
Recording Secretary and Ways and Means Representative. It is critical that
we get YOU to volunteer for one of these positions in order to have a successful
school year. There is nothing to be fearful of – we will work with
you to make sure you understand your responsibilities and feel comfortable
with them. Together, we can build an excellent PTA Program. But, we need
YOU! Please call Principal Whitney at 407-897-6410 X222 and volunteer your
services.
PTA Fundraisers are the way by which PTA will have its working capital for special programs and events. Please be on the lookout for flyers announcing our fundraisers and participate in any way that you can. Bring the fundraiser order forms to your work, family events, or neighborhood events to support your child’s efforts. Talk to your child about the importance of being safe while selling the products. Remind your child NEVER to go door to door without an adult’s supervision.
The one primary class and one intermediate class with the highest PTA membership percentage will earn a Pizza Party (Special “thanks” to Papa Johns Pizza who is sponsoring this award). In the case of a tie, a drawing will be done to select the winner.
General meetings and holiday programs:
We have 2 general meetings per year, which include student programs/recitals.
Productions are put on by our music teacher and volunteer parents and staff.
Come see our Fern Creek children perform! They want to make you proud and
they will! So plan a family night out and bring your camera, too.
School Newsletter:
Our Bulldog Barker newsletter will go home with the report cards 4 times
this year. It is loaded with important and educational information. PLEASE
